The following is a sample itinerary for the tours offered
March 10 – 18, 2009   or   October 28 – November 5, 2009

Day 1
Departure from US (or other originating point), usually scheduled for midday.

Day 2
Arrive Narita Airport, usually late in the afternoon; met by Steve as you exit Customs.  Train ride to city; check in to Ryokan (Japanese Inn); Welcome Dinner.

Day 3
Visit Honganji Temple, Tsukiji market, Hama Rikyu Garden, ride water bus to Asakusa, see Nakamise-dori shopping street and Senso-ji Temple.  Rest at Ryokan after lunch in Asakusa.  Take an evening walking tour of Ginza, including time for dinner.

Day 4
Walking tour of hotel neighborhood.  See sights in Ueno Park & visit Ameyoko market.  Brief rest after lunch.  Visit Akihabara “Electric Town” and have dinner.

Day 5
Visit Meiji Shrine, Harajuku & Yoyogi Park, Omotesando, Oriental Bazaar, Aoyama, Roppongi area, including Roppongi Hills.  Lunch near Oriental Bazaar, and dinner in Ebisu.

Day 6
Walking tours of Ikebukuro and Shinjuku, including Sunshine City, Metropolitan Govt. Building, and department stores. Lunch & dinner along the way.

Day 7
Views of Imperial Palace, plus walk through East Garden; ride monorail to Odaiba.  Lunch and sightseeing in Odaiba.  Shibuya walking tour & dinner.

Day 8
Train ride to Kamakura, see Great Buddha, other temples, Yokohama Chinatown Lunch in Kamakura, Farewell Dinner in back in Tokyo.

Day 9
Free morning; return to Narita Airport to catch a late afternoon flight back to home
