 All transportation required by our itinerary, beginning with transfer from Narita Airport to Tokyo hotel, and back to Narita at the end of the trip; Shinkansen ("Bullet Train"); local trains and subways; boats and ferries.
Overnight lodging at high quality hotels and inns (12 nights). All meals, giving a thorough exposure to Japanese cuisine. All entrance fees and costs of hiring tour guides for included sightseeing.
Services of two seasoned escorts (Steve & Marta Adelsman) plus the support of several Japanese partners. You will also be sent valuable information in advance of the trip which will enable you to properly prepare for the adventure ahead, and to whet your appetite for what you will encounter.
Note: This tour is not conducted from a motorcoach. We will travel primarily on trains, and will do quite a bit of walking on several of the days. Tour participants should be healthy and fit, capable of walking several miles comfortably in a day.
